- Fast-forward to now: I've built 30+ AI tools, including those detailed below, and I'm deeply curious about memory, embeddings, and their parallels with neuroscience/sleep
- Specifically, the interplay between neuroscience/sleep and the semantic context unlocked by embeddings is fascinating - particularly the AGI possibilities in systems that process semantic context into many abstractions/perspectives, LLM feedback loops that generate mental models from those abstractions and source-text atoms, and fine-tunings woven in as "subconscious subroutines" to spin semantic context around and zoom in and out on multiple dimensions (entity, narrative, temporal, spatial, causal, etc.), unlocking morphic storage and true multi-dimensional learning rather than rote, speedily-accessible similarity memorization. Famous quotes are distillations of wisdom, legends are embeddings of knowledge, understanding is encoded into culture for persistence. Parallels could be built with embedding systems to power breakthrough memory advances

- Built a simple brand-voice system for the franchise for amazing ads and content that sounds like them. Also built a system that can scrape ads from a website URL, rank them by perceive quality and objective performance, and load them into an embeddings system to generate content in their best-performing brand-voice
- Built an LLM-powered marketing report generator which instantly outputs beautiful marketing reports by parsing a custom ETL pipeline of Google Ads & Meta Ads data and the structure + performance of the campaigns
- Built a persona system which generates deep personality graphs for any famous figure, powering a "roundtable" app where users provide a prompt, the system recommends people to talk to, and users can choose specific participants or ask for anyone in the world. The persona graph absolutely nails the tone, voice, and mental models of anyone in the world. As a twist, the AI participants can dynamically choose to invite new, relevant participants based on the current context, creating organic discussions where the AI personas debate the user's question amongst themselves and with the user as new subject-matter experts (and friends of the persona) join in. Each persona gets its own long-term, evolving memory graph with threads tied to the user and other personas so the personas remember and learn from every conversation and interaction (user or not) over time. Meaning AI personas can learn from anyone, user or not. A conversation orchestrator keeps it coherent and surprisingly fun. Terrified to launch publicly for fear of being sued
- Built an enterprise knowledgebase system by scraping and cleaning thousands of pages from the franchise's Atlassian/Confluence wiki, parsing them, adding metadata, embedding them, and wrapping a knowledge assistant portal around it all. Two-day sprint that ended when they decided the wiki was too outdated to use. It's slow and needs prompt improvements and speed optimizations (too many recursive thoughts), but the bones are there and it was good practice for building a quick enterprise assistant.
- Built a MongoDB database analyzer that parses all databases and collections (or specific ones) by randomly sampling, analyzing schema, and recursively sampling if needed to build a knowledge graph for each collection and distill the contents into a concise, LLM-ready context block explaining what's in the collection, data types, field contents, how they fit into the bigger picture of the database/company/application, how to query them, and relevant related collections. Works incredibly well. Now building a MongoDB → Neo4j LLM system that uses this as a starting point to convert MongoDB databases into intelligently-structured graph schemas.
- Built & trained ML models to predict when clients will book next (day/time), what services they will book, and who they will book with. Achieved 1.7 days MAE
- Built an LLM-powered predictive system to see if it could beat the ML models. Client behavior is summarized, appointment history is considered, and the system achieves 1.3 days MAE and performs much better with volatile clients. Valuable, but not enough to justify the cost
- Fine-tunings and model distillation might solve the cost problem and drive massive value for appointment-based businesses
- Predictive systems + a marketing automation engine could prompt a context-aware LLM chatbot to reach out to clients with open days/times matching their predicted behavior, booking them instantly via SMS. I built a prototype, and the concept works well
- Target clients could be warmed up by automated ads 2-3 days before reaching out
- Schedule efficiency opportunity is massive. Intelligent client triage would fill books, maximize revenue, and reduce churn by scoring clients on value and risk
- Win/win/win for the business and the clients and the predictive company

- Start each day with something to prove. Do it. Be relentless.
- Follow the data
- Humans are biased creatures. Data pierces that bias. Every action should be backed by hard numbers.
- Avoid groupthink
- Innovate. Be objective. Constantly learn. Don't just fall into line: blaze a new trail.
- Improve relentlessly
- We are what we consistently do. So be excellent. Iterate incessantly. Constant improvement drives wins.
- Humble ownership
- Claim your actions. Acknowledge your flaws and losses. They're a gift; study them. Be cognizant that there is always, always, something to learn.
- Memory is intelligence
- AGI will come from memory breakthroughs. Knowledge has been compressed by humans into wisdom, legends, lessons, heuristics, biases, mental models, and frameworks for approaching problems. Intelligence is connecting those forms of memories to novel problems. Intelligence isn't analysis, it's remembering how to analyze.
